Autosport International will not run in 2026, returning in 2027
Organisers paused the Birmingham show for a strategic review, removing a January 2026 launch venue for UK motorsport electronics firms.
The organisers of Autosport International, the motorsport show held each January at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK, announced that the event would not take place in 2026.
They said the pause would allow a full strategic review of the show's vision and format, with the event set to return in 2027 in a new form promising greater access, interactivity and innovation. No details of the new format were given.
Autosport International has run for more than 30 years and typically attracts over 90,000 visitors and around 250 exhibitors across four days, including an Engineering Hall for motorsport technology suppliers. It traditionally opens the European motorsport calendar, so its absence removed one of the main winter venues where engine management and electronics companies exhibit in the UK.
