Haltech is a Sydney-based maker of aftermarket ECUs, digital dashes, power distribution and wiring for street and motorsport use, with offices in the USA, UK and NZ. It is known for the Platinum, Elite and Nexus ECU families and, since 2022, belongs to the US group Race Winning Brands.

  1. 1986Haltech founded (per Haltech's 35th-anniversary article)
  2. 1987Founder Steven Mitchell wrote the piggyback fuel program for Modern Motor magazine's supercharged XF Falcon project car
  3. 2013Elite Series ECU announced at SEMA 2013, sold alongside Platinum Sprint/Sport/Pro plug-ins; availability expected March 2014
  4. 2019Nexus R5 VCU (ECU + PDM + dual wideband) shown at PRI 2019 alongside new Nexus software (NSP)
  5. 2022Acquired by Race Winning Brands (RWB) (reported June 2022)
  6. 2023Nexus R3 VCU released (Haltech news, March 2023)
