Holley releases Bluetooth module for Terminator X and X Max
Module 558-483 lets users monitor and tune Terminator X/X Max EFI from a phone or tablet without a laptop or handheld.
Holley has released a Bluetooth module (part number 558-483) for its Terminator X and Terminator X Max EFI systems, which are widely used for modern V8 engine swaps into older vehicles. The Holley blog post itself could only be partly read, so details here also draw on dealer listings.
The module plugs into the Terminator X CAN network and lets owners tune and monitor the system wirelessly from an iOS or Android smartphone, with no laptop or handheld needed. Features listed include the setup wizard, basic and advanced tuning, input and output control, adjustments such as rev limiter and idle settings, a customisable data monitor and a live dash mode using the phone's accelerometer for speed. Tablets were not supported at launch and the product is sold only in the USA and Canada. Dealers list it at about US$240.
