FuelTech Vision v1.40 adds Drag and Road Racing packages for FT700

Vision Software v1.40 for FT700/FT700PLUS added Drag and Road Racing feature packages.

FuelTech released FuelTech Vision software version 1.40 for the FT700 and FT700PLUS in July 2025, adding dedicated drag racing and road racing feature packages along with more than 100 changes.

For drag racing, the update brings a gear controller (GCM) and two CO2 boost controllers. A new segmented map option lets teams running several cars share a base map and push only selected sections or settings to each car. New alerts cover missed boost targets, CAN and RPM signal failures, low power-steering and compressed-air pressures and closed-loop correction limits.

Other additions include per-channel current protection and automatic rearm on outputs, electronic wastegate (eGate) protections and self-calibration, CAN FD baud rate setup, Ethernet via a USB adapter, cranking fuel options per bank and per cylinder, a MAP sensor fallback, idle compensation for fans, air conditioning and automatics, 1,000 Hz internal logging, boost control by electronic throttle, timing split screens for rotary engines and an engine and sensor simulator. Menus for VVT, multi-tooth phase and VE functions were removed pending future updates, and a range of fixes covers anti-lag, transbrake, dual throttle bodies and log downloads.
