ECUMaster PMU software 122.3 public release

· ECUMaster Community

PMU update adds conditional CAN transmit, a DBC exporter, checksum module, support for two third-party keypads and a RacePad keypad, and RTC sync.

ECUMaster has publicly released version 122.3 of the software for its PMU (Power Management Unit) range, the solid-state power distribution modules that replace fuses and relays in race and project cars. It is the first official release since version 101.2.1.

Most changes deal with CAN bus handling. CAN export gains a conditional transmit mode and a checksum module that lets users define custom checksum formulas for outgoing frames, and both CAN message objects and exports can now be saved as DBC files. The PMU can also read 32-bit floating-point values from the bus. Keypad support has expanded: two third-party keyboards can now be used at once (for example Grayhill, RaceGrade or Life Racing), RacePad and ECUMaster's 6x1 keyboard are supported, and keypad brightness can follow any channel.

Other additions include a rate-of-change (derivative) operation in the Project Tree, automatic real-time clock sync when connected to a PC, edge-triggered saving of autosaved channels, new serial number and firmware version channels, and units and decimal places carried through to ECUMaster's Data Master log viewer (2025.4 or newer). The update is a free download from the PMU product page.
