ECUMaster EMU PRO 261.2.2 public release
New public release adds a Base Map Loader, Engine Kill, a CAN-controlled gearbox strategy (GM 8L), GM Alpha/Corvette C7 CAN streams and new base maps including BMW B58TU and EA888 Gen 3.
ECUMaster has made EMU PRO software 261.2.2 a public (stable) release, rolling up the changes from the 230.x and 261.x beta builds since the previous official version, 226.4.2. Firmware 261.2 is unchanged across client builds 261.2 to 261.2.2, and updated legacy firmware (216.7, 225.7 and 226.7) with better trigger noise resistance is included.
Notable additions include a Base Map Loader that can download base maps from the web, partial project export/import, a project comment stored in the ECU, an engine kill command, the ability to clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) over the on-board diagnostics (OBD) CAN link, and per-code control of the check engine light. The drive-by-wire (DBW) target now has separate maximum-rate tables for opening and closing, and idle airflow can be corrected for fans and air conditioning.
Hardware and vehicle support has grown too: native support for ECUMaster's CAN Switch Board, Wireless Racing Panel and CAN I/O module, a CAN-controlled gearbox strategy covering the GM 8L family and an alternative DSG control mode, low-pressure fuel pump control over CAN for the GM Alpha platform, and CAN streams for the sixth-generation Camaro SS and C7 Corvette. New trigger decoders cover the Subaru FA24DIT, Dodge Neon and several cam-mounted patterns, and new base maps include Camaro and Corvette LT1/LT4, Mini N14, EA888 Gen 3, BMW B58TU, B48, S54 and S65.
