ECUMaster EMU PRO 230.5 beta adds GM 8L gearbox and CAN I/O support

· ECUMaster EMU PRO changelog

Beta adds Subaru FA24DIT and Dodge Neon trigger decoders, GM 8L gearbox support, CAN I/O board support and partial project import/export.

ECUMaster released EMU PRO client and firmware 230.5 as a beta at the end of March 2026, adding several features that later went into the 261.2 public release.

The largest addition is a new CAN-controlled gearbox strategy, which brings support for the GM 8L family of automatic transmissions and an alternative control method for DSG dual-clutch gearboxes. The firmware also gains CAN streams for the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro SS (GM Alpha platform) and the C7 Corvette, plus low-pressure fuel pump control over CAN for GM Alpha cars. ECUMaster's CAN Switch Board, Wireless Racing Panel and CAN I/O module are now supported natively, giving extra analog and digital inputs and outputs.

Other firmware changes include new trigger decoders for the Subaru FA24DIT and Dodge Neon, an automatic cylinder-cut method for the rev limiter, launch control, rolling launch and RPM matching, paddle-shift actuator recentering, extra sensor types and simplified thermostat setup. The client adds partial project export and import and a tool that clears all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) via an on-board diagnostics (OBD) frame. A 230.5.1 client fix followed in April.
