Link launches G4X plug-in ECU for Toyota Land Cruiser 1FZ-FE
FJ100X (FZJ100Link) fits inside the factory ECU housing of 100 Series manual 1FZ-FE Land Cruisers, with dual CAN and a base map.
Link ECU has added a plug-in engine control unit (ECU) for the Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series with the 1FZ-FE inline-six petrol engine to its G4X range. Called the FJ100X (also listed as FZJ100Link), it installs as a board swap inside the factory ECU housing using the original connectors, keeping a stock appearance.
The unit is for manual-transmission vehicles only; Link says it does not support automatics. Link lists the FZJ100 and FZJ150 as applicable vehicles, and it works with both three-plug and four-plug factory looms, with the fourth plug left unplugged if fitted. It offers a range of digital, analog and temperature inputs and two CAN buses, is set up with jumpers, and is tuned with Link's free PCLink software with a base map included.
Link pitches it for touring, towing, hot-climate and off-road builds where tuning control and protection strategies matter, noting that it does not add power on its own and that professional installation and tuning are recommended. It is sold through Link's dealer network, including Australia, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.
