Link ECU released PCLink 7.8.2 on 29 April 2026, together with G5 firmware 7.8.2 and G4X firmware 6.31.2. The update adds support for the G5 Voodoo Pro V2, and PCLink can automatically reshuffle output pin assignments when loading a tune taken from an original G5 Voodoo Pro or a G4X ECU.

Torque-based control was reworked: Link added new minimum torque runtimes, relabelled existing values as maximum torque, introduced an overall torque request value and expanded the driver torque request tables, and overrun fuel cut is now disabled when a positive torque request is present. The Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ vehicle CAN mode gained rev-matching for automatic cars and extra CAN inputs, and the GM transmission control CAN mode now uses the new transmission minimum torque request. Link warns that GM CAN mode users must reconfigure their transmission temperature and sport mode inputs and torque request handling after updating.

Other additions include more Porsche CAN modes, more Mini R56 data, cruise control buttons read directly from some vehicle CAN modes, a low oil pressure fault code, CAN-writable dyno values with files for Mainline and DYNOLYZE dynos, engine braking control for Jatco 4-speed automatics, a BMW S62 trigger mode and a TB48 plug-in sample tune. Fixes include fuel pump priming on Voodoo Neo ECUs powered over USB and a Mitsubishi Colt trigger sync issue, which requires trigger edges and offset to be redone.
