ECUMaster EMU PRO 226.4 public release

Improves primary trigger decoder noise tolerance and adds BMW B58 Gen 1 GDI injector calibration.

ECUMaster made EMU PRO software version 226.4 available as a public release in early February 2026. It is a short update focused on reliability.

The main change is a revised primary trigger decoding algorithm that is less susceptible to electrical noise and interference on the crank signal, which helps avoid sync loss in electrically noisy installations. The client also fixes a cosmetic bug where the toolbars switched back to light mode after the computer woke from sleep while dark mode was selected.

The calibration library gains gasoline direct injection (GDI) injector data for the first-generation BMW B58 engine (Bosch part 0261500484). The software is a free download from the EMU PRO product page. Replies in the forum thread show users asking for ZF 8HP gearbox support, to which ECUMaster said it was working on it.
