ECUMaster EMU PRO 219.0 beta adds GM 4L60E/4L80E control
Beta adds planetary gearbox support for GM 4L60E/4L80E, a Renault 5 trigger and closed-loop custom stepper motor control.
ECUMaster's EMU PRO 219.0 beta, released in April 2025, extended the ECU's built-in automatic gearbox control to GM's 4L60E and 4L80E four-speed automatics, along with torque reduction and throttle blip during shifts and a more advanced shifting algorithm for planetary gearboxes.
The firmware also added a closed-loop mode for custom stepper motors, a new primary trigger decoder for the Renault 5, user-defined names for custom outputs and switches, improved DSG dual-clutch integration for the MQB Seat Leon Cupra III, better LIN bus performance, and an experimental CAN stream for the third-generation Subaru Impreza (GH).
Fixes covered ignition problems on rotary engines at high RPM with long dwell times, stepper motors losing steps, line pressure ramping when shifting out of park or neutral, and torque converter slip calculation. The client began showing connector pin numbers in its assigned inputs and outputs windows and fixed a table conversion issue when updating very old projects.
