Haltech Nexus plug-in ECU for R32/R33/R34 Skylines announced
Plug-in for RB20DET/RB25DET/RB26DETT Skylines uses the factory 76-pin connector, with Wi-Fi tuning and built-in wideband; shipping expected mid-July 2025.
Haltech announced a Nexus plug-in ECU for Nissan Skylines, with UK retailer Exoracing reporting shipments expected around mid-July 2025 and preorders open. It is built on Haltech's Nexus S-series platform.
The unit replaces the factory ECU in R32 and R33 GTS-T and GT-R models (RB20DET, RB25DET and RB26DETT engines) and the R34 GT-R, using the original 76-pin connector and factory mounting position with no wiring changes. Factory functions such as the GT-R's ATTESA all-wheel-drive throttle signal, fuel pump control, air conditioning, fans and the R34 GT-R multi-function display's injector duty readout are retained.
An auxiliary connector allows extra sensors and features without modifying the factory loom, including wideband oxygen control, flex fuel, oil and fuel pressure and drive-by-wire (DBW) throttle. The ECU has an onboard wideband controller, Wi-Fi tuning via the Haltech Connect app, a four-channel oscilloscope, 128 MB of logging, knock and cam control, and race features like launch control, nitrous and torque management. Exoracing listed it from GBP 1,830; Haltech's US store lists it at US$2,040 (excluding tax), for manual-transmission cars only.
