Haltech Ti4L and Ti6L kits let Nexus control GM electronic autos
Interface kits with harness and 500 psi line pressure sensor let Nexus ECUs/VCUs run GM 4L-series and 6L80/6L90 transmissions; plug-and-play with Rebel LS.
At the 2025 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show, Haltech introduced the Nexus Ti4L and Ti6L transmission interface kits, which let its Nexus ECUs and vehicle control units (VCUs) run GM's electronically controlled automatic transmissions. Previously the popular Nexus Rebel LS plug-and-play kit was limited to manual gearboxes or non-electronic automatics.
The interfaces are expansion modules rather than standalone transmission controllers. The Ti4L covers GM's four-speed 4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E (non-4x4, 2006 to 2008 versions) and the 4L80E and 4L85E (non-4x4, 1994 on), and uses closed-loop line pressure control with long-term learning; its kit includes a terminated transmission harness and a 500 psi pressure sensor. The Ti6L supports the six-speed 6L80 and 6L90 running a compatible transmission control module operating system, with CAN links to both the Haltech bus and the GM transmission module.
Both kits plug straight into the Rebel LS terminated harness and are configured through a setup wizard in NSP or the Haltech Connect app. Other Nexus ECUs need the harness terminated to the kit's transmission breakout connector. Neither works with Elite, Platinum or older Haltech ECUs. Haltech's US store lists each kit at US$450 (excluding tax).
