FuelTech Vision Software v2.24 released

FuelTech published a Vision Software v2.24 update for FT700/FT700PLUS VCUs.

FuelTech has released FuelTech Vision software version 2.24 (build 00.02.24.00), a free update for its Vision-platform ECUs and the FT700 family. It is one of the larger updates to the software, centred on a rebuilt dashboard system.

The second-generation dashboard uses a drag-and-drop editor that works on desktop, the FT700 screen, tablets and phones. Dashes are now rendered by the graphics processor for smoother page changes, and users can make custom needles from image files, add animated backgrounds, gradients, IP or analog camera feeds, on-screen buttons and gauges that only appear when a channel crosses a threshold. Layouts can be shared between devices in a single file.

New tools include a desktop video overlay that lays dash and telemetry data over track footage, a dyno simulator that estimates torque and power from the map using a library of 28 engine models, and a drag-race 'practice tree' launch reaction game. Custom Functions gained per-bank and per-cylinder injection trim, flex-fuel override, a high-resolution ignition cut and lambda target override, plus larger workspaces, no artificial block limit and password protection. The datalogger also gained new channels and math channels.
