MoTeC STW195 steering wheel wins PMW Data and Electronics award
MoTeC took Data and Electronics Solution of the Year at the PMW Awards held at PMW Expo, Cologne, 12-13 November 2025.
MoTeC's STW195 steering wheel won the Data and Electronics Solution of the Year category at the 2025 PMW Magazine Awards, held at PMW (Professional Motorsport World) Expo in Cologne, Germany, on 12 and 13 November 2025.
The awards are judged live at the show by a panel of motorsport and automotive engineers, including former Le Mans-winning car designers and Formula 1 and rally engineers, with an emphasis on technical merit. Other 2025 winners included Marelli's REV-500 for Powertrain Technology of the Year and Overall Engineering Innovation of the Year, SKF's wood-based ceramic bearing, Bcomp's natural-fibre motorcycle bodywork, R53 Suspension's FIA seat attenuator, and VESevo's smart tyre characterisation tool.
The roundup did not give specifications or pricing for the STW195. The show's headline sponsor, Motion Applied (formerly McLaren Applied), also launched its rebrand at the event, and the 2026 PMW Expo is scheduled for 10 and 11 November 2026 in Cologne.
