MaxxECU MTune 1.161.3 released

· MaxxECU documentation

Adds GEN1 8HP adaptation reset, doubles the Lua memory pool, Mazda RX8 steering rack emulation and BMW E9x fuel consumption data.

MaxxECU has released MTune 1.161.3, a maintenance update to the PC tuning software and firmware for its engine control units (ECUs). It follows 1.161.2 from early August.

The main additions are an adaptation reset function for the first-generation ZF 8HP automatic transmission control, a doubled memory pool for Lua user scripts, an option for the Mazda RX-8 vehicle CAN integration to emulate the steering rack, and fuel consumption data in the BMW E9x (MSS60) CAN integration. The firmware for MaxxECU's Expansion Module was updated with better firmware identification.

Fixes cover Expansion Module pulse inputs and outputs that were not working, a typo in the file extension when saving PC logs in MaxxECU-Log format, a removed Mini Script that could keep running and interfere with a reassigned output, cruise control inputs in the BMW MS42/MS43 CAN integration, and a Lua scripting bug where the can.send command ignored the requested bus and always sent on the module bus. The full installer is a free download from MaxxECU's documentation site.
